In 2017 Jared was awarded the prestigious Microsoft Platinum Club award for his achievements with HoloLens. Achievements included running official events, hosting community hackathons, working with the product group, and creating deep technical training for partners. Much of his work was showcased during Alex Kipman’s keynote at //Build that year:

- 0:18 – Mentored the Synchro team at their first hackathon
- 0:31 – Mentored the Tietronix team (whose products are now used by NASA on the ISS)
- 0:48 – Coded with MediVis on early versions of their medical applications
- 0:56 – Coded with Synchro on the construction app (ultimately acquired by Bentley)
